Optimover Electric Trailer Dolly
Built for Power, Precision, and Peace of Mind

Optimover handles trailers, boats and RVs between 1,100 and 7,700 lb gross weight, with a maximum tongue weight of 770 lb. Most half-ton-towable fifth-wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers and boat trailers are within range.
Optimover ships with a choice of heavy-duty clamp brackets sized for drawbars from 75 mm to 150 mm. Your drawbar needs to be between 16 and 25 inches from the ground (adjustable 16–20 inches for best results). Select your clamp size in the dropdown above.
Optimover runs on 12V from any of three sources: your RV or trailer battery via an Anderson plug, a 12V deep-cycle battery (80 Ah minimum recommended), or a 12V jump pack capable of 50 A continuous output. You don’t need to charge the mover itself — it uses whichever 12V source you have.
Every Optimover comes with a 3-year parts warranty plus lifetime support — the longest in the category. Many of our customers still use their original unit 10+ years later.
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — if Optimover isn’t right for your RV, boat or trailer, we’ll refund your purchase price in full and cover the return shipping. No restocking fees. See the full policy.

Clamp Size Guide
Optitec recommends a heavy duty double clamp for moving trailers and caravans over 1500kg. There are numerous clamps available to fit different size drawbars.
Finding your perfect clamp:
Step 1. Locate the best position on your drawbar to place the bracket; the Optimover is effective anywhere on the front drawbar where space allows.
Step 2. Measure the drawbar height.
Step 3. Measure the drawbar width.
Step 4. Use the size guide below to select your bracket.

Gal Opatovsky –
I have had mine for 2 years now and highly recommend it! Great in tight spots
David Bremer –
I love the Optimover! It has been a godsend in moving my trailer into and out of my driveway. There is a electrical pole in the way of where I put my 25 foot Flagstaff S233 (GVWR 6652lbs/3017kg) camping trailer. Using the Optimover, I can unhook in the street and maneuver the trailer right into where I want it. The driveway apron is a 6.5 degrees slope and the driveway itself is 2.6 degrees.
I primarily go to state campgrounds which are notorious for narrow roads and uneven surfaces. Using the Optimover to put my trailer into the space works great. One campground the slope is about 8 to 10 degrees and the Optimover handled it without an issue.
The Optimover is less expensive than its nearest competitor and is easy to install. I installed an Anderson plug into the cover of my trailer battery box which makes connecting the Optimover’s power cable a breeze.
I look forward to many years of use from my Optimover and would call it one of my best purchases in the care of my trailer, and my nerves. I would recommend purchasing a second remote just for piece of mind.
PS: Optimover will be at the California RV Super Show, Pomona Fairplex from March 20-22-2026 If you would like to see it in person.
